What Causes Discomfort In The Throat While Suffering From Acid Reflux?
I feel like something is in the back of my throat like a piece of food I need to swallow. I do have acid reflux & I stopped ranitidine 300mg recently. I had been on nexium 4omg & stopped that year ago. Do you recommend I see ENT Dr for throat/swallowing feeling?

It is due to inflammation of the pharynx by acid reflux.
As first-line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Avoid spicy foods.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
