What Causes Discomfort In The Tonsils?
Twice in my life (once ten years ago or so, and once tonight) I have pressed on my tonsil with my tongue and had an odd-but-strong tasting liquid to come out. Tonight, it was a white/yellowish color - I had also had ice cream earlier in the evening. Is it possible for my tonsil to have held melted ice cream in it? After a few brief presses, it was out, in an un-alarming quantity, and my tonsil feels slightly flatter in comparison to the other tonsil. I have had no discomfort or other indicators of an abscess other than tonight s event.

Let me tell few things about tonsils, it forms a part of immune system, the surface of tonsil has got crypts, in some people crypts are little deeper, so when you consume food, some of it will be lodged in this crypt, whenever you press tonsil it comes out. So, don't worry, you will be fine.
