What Causes Discomfort In The Vagina After Uterus Removal?
Hello Doctor, My mother in law underwent uterus removal operation . After her operation before passing urine she feels that extra pigmentation it s like a small ball. But after passing urine it vanishes . But when she walks she can feel something protruding . Doctor said that not to worry
As with the patients who undergo hysterectomy, initial days post surgery, there might be some odd feeling. As the doctors have already examined her, do not worry much, this will be fine soon.
Also, doing pelvic floor strengthening exercises are recommended post hysterectomy. As the muscles become weak and need some strength in it to hold the pelvic floor stable.
In my clinical experience of 12 years, most females who underwent the hysterectomy procedures have similar complaints, but they do well with time and some pelvic floor exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
