What Causes Discomfort In Throat?

I feel irritation in throat & feel always some thing like groundnut seed coat has been fixed therein. I have/had already taken a course of azithromycin with ibrufen, though I got relief but not completely. Some irritation with cough formation has started in throat not in chest . I generally avoide cold drink s & also oily things. but still it s complant continue.Please advise what to do for relief. thak s

Well come to HCM
Such throat symptoms are mostly allergic in condition and may be associated with hyperacidity and in my opinion this can be best treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and Tab Levocetrizine, forget about the feeling that something stuck inside the throat, hope this helps

warm saline gargles should help you...also drink plenty of oral fluids....get yourself checked for any post nasal drip which generally irritates the throat....and r/o sinusitis....you can try nasal decongestants and steam inhalation
