What Causes Discomfort On The Tongue?
I ve been noticing for several months that there are times where I seem to have to swallow as more of a voluntary, thoughtful process rather than an involuntar process. . Now for several weeks I m noticing the sensation on the top of my tongue similar to when you have scorched it or just brushed your teeth with a minty toothpaste. Your symptoms do not seem very typical of MS or ALS. I would recommend you to have a check with your doctor to rule out local causes of the sensation in the tongue. Also, the doctor may conduct a neurological examination to rule out neurological problems, including the ones you are concerned about.
