What Causes Discomfort Under The Tongue After Eating Food?

I feel like there is something stuck under my tongue when I am finished eating but there is nothing there food wise. But I can feel a ball like something and eventually it goes away. It just started one night and has been like this for two weeks. Thank you in advance for your help

It could be a canker sore. As a first line management, you can apply triamcinolone cream for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a dental surgeon and evaluated.
