What Causes Discomfort While Swallowing?

I woke up this morning with discomfort while swallowing, but I do not have tonsils and have tested negative for strep. I also have some mild congestion. What s weird is that my legs (hips mostly) are incredibly sore, and it almost feels like they are running a fever. I had my temperature taken, and it was a bit elevated, but still under 100. What is going on?

Read your query as you have discomfort while swallowing this can be due to upper respiratory infection , mild throat infection or due to pharyngitis . Dont be worried so much for this I will suggest you to consult good physician or Ent surgeon for examination . Inmeantime do warm saline gargle and you can take medicine like Azithromycin or Novaclox by consulting with local doctor.
