Hi, I have an issue roughly once every three months where I find my self extreemely disoriented to the point where I am in sort of a Haze. I cannot focus, I read something and cant understand what I am reading. I have blurred vision, fatigue, slight short term memory loss. It lasts for roughly an hour to two hours. I am 26 years of age. been active most of my life. Just got out of the Navy. I have been experiencing these symptoms for roughly 5 years or so.

Hi,

There may be few causes for such symptoms. Few are not serious however some may need work up. This may be a type of migraine which may cause symptoms. Epilepsy specially frontal lobe epilepsy may also cause such symptoms.

What I understand necessary is that you should see a nueralogist who would assess you in details and may need an MRI and or EEG (electroencephelogram) to exactly know as what's happening.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
