What Causes Distorted Vision?

For about 5 minutes each day for the last 3 days my wife has experienced distorted vision....described as bright jagged lights that move around. She can t focus to read during this time . After about 5 minutes they seem to move to her peripheral vision and go away.

exclude diabetes and hypertention this may be degenarative effect of retina. ophthalmoscopy is requered. such changes may be noted. field tracing should be done and take iot regularly. exclude glaucoma.
