What Causes Dizziness After Consuming Wine?

Hi - Just got back from my wine tasting honeymoon and am dizzy when I especially lower my head and feel like I have a pressure in my head. I have also had really bad allergies all week amongst olive trees so sinuse issues. What do you think? Thanks.

Hi,

While drinking wine, especially if too much, may cause dizziness. However, in the context of your history of allergies and sinus problems in past. I understand you may be suffering from sinusitis. A headache that is worse on bending and the feeling of fullness are quite typical of sinusitis. So I understand you should see your doctor and get an x-ray of the sinuses for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
