What Causes Dizziness After Taking Cipro?

My husband had a kidney stone ,was hospitalized ,had sx and and a stint. Was put on cipro and sent home . Within 24 to48 hours he was very dizzy, few days later was seeing aunts on the toilet seat ..quickly realized that it was not real. Saw the surgeon and explained his symptoms . D/ c cipro .. One week later saw dr to remove stint.. He. Had elevated blood sugar , was still very dizzy but was told it was impossible for cipro to still be in his system... This is three weeks later and he is still very dizzy,lethargic ,getting depressed.. However, his blood sugar,blood pressure are normal range.. He has always had a slow pluse. 62 to 72 . We have another appointment in the morning with the Dr. But I feel all his symptoms are going to be discounted. Is ther an approach I can use to get them to dig for what is going on .. This is a 77yr old man who has alway been very healthly, has never needed any regular medication and has had plenty of energy all of his life..thank you for any input.. Charlene and Bob muldrow
