What Causes Dizziness After Using Tetracaine Ophthalmic Drops?

I have a corneal abrasion from cutting wood yesterday. Rinsed my eye with tap water and after 15 min went to the ED. Examined and couldn’t find any foreign object but did see the abrasion. Gave tetracaine drop and oral pain med and dilated the pupil. I’ve been sleeping most of the day and staying away from bright lights. The eye feels better- tired and a little puffy, but I’m very dizzy. Haven’t taken anymore pain med since 8pm last night. Is the dizziness normal? When should I be concerned?
