What Causes Dizziness After Withdrawal Of Deanxit?
hello, I was taking Deanxit for 3 years then stopped one month ago, slowly and not suddenly; now I feel dizzy since 2 weeks, i went to my neurologist, made blood test & check ears, etc, and all was fine; of course i have a blood pressure history. Please advise
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if dizziness occur due to withdrawal of Deanxit . Well the symptoms can occur due to many reasons like middle ear infection , some kind of growth in middle ear or fluid in middle ear ( Meniere's disease ) . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to withdrawal effects of deanixit. You should consult with your ENT specialist and get evaluated. Doctor may order audiometry test and tuning fork test and treat it accordingly. Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , anti inflammatory or antibiotics . Avoid touching and pricking it with any sharp object, drink green tea with ginger thrice a day and drink plenty of water .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
