What Causes Dizziness Along With Shortness Of Breath?
PATIENT: 51-year-old Male, Caucasian. employed as electrian. Complaining with: Dizzy, at times light-headed slightly short of breath, compalining stiff neck, (when asked where on the neck patient said at the back of my neck). NO Fever, is still very moblie, Pt is on medication: Lisinooril 10mg, Asmanex HFA inhalaer, Methadone 60mg daily,
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness along with shortness of breath. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like COPD symptoms , acute bronchitis , acid reflux , asthmatic condition , sleeping apnea or upper respiratory infection. The symptoms can also indicating towards cardiac problem. For now eat light at night , take benadryl twice a day and keep your head elevated while lying down. Avoid intake of outside food , drink fresh fruit juice and avoid bending forward. I would suggest you to consult pulmonologist for proper examination. Doctor may order chest x-ray, blood test and check vitals along with vitals. Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for cardiac problem. Take proper rest and stay hydrated.
