What Causes Dizziness Along With Vertigo?

Hi, in the past month, I ve had about 5 episodes where a wave comes over me where I feel like I may pass out but I don t. It lasts about a minute. I have a history of vertigo from Meniere s so I don t know if it s related to that. I also have well-controlled diabetes. I m 65 years old.

Hello,

It can be from Meniere's disease.

Ear examination should be done by an otorhinolaryngologist for confirming diagnosis. Diuretic and antihistaminic drug should be prescribed. Take low sodium diet and avoid tobacco and caffeine.

Consult an otorhinolaryngologist for examination and accordingly management plan decided.
