General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, the effects look very likely to be caused by the drug. Blood pressure medicine may cause significant drop in BP with first dose (called first pass effect), hence causing dizziness and fainting.

The pill contains two drugs, the lisinopril especially can cause it. So yes it's very likely your drug.

For this reason, we start the drug with a low dose and increase gradually. So you may start with half tablet and make it full in a few days if needed. Another method is to start the drug t at bed time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
