What Causes Dizziness And Body Imbalance?

My husband had a mini stroke last year. This morning he got very dizzy and fell in the bathroom. He does not have symptoms of tongue or arms above his head. His equilibrium is bad. He is unsteady on his feet. I gave him two aspirins. I changed my flight plans to leave tomonnor from Hilo to go to US. We are an hour away from urgent care.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

That is likely to be due to TIA (Transient ischemic attack) which you are telling like mini stroke which may involve the part of posterior cerebral artery.

This unsteady gait may due to cerebellum lesion or SOL at cerebellopontine angel. You need emergency care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
