General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it is due to abrupt withdrawal. Adderall is an addictive prescription stimulant with effects similar to meth. Although not everyone who uses Adderall will develop an addiction, people regularly taking Adderall at unprescribed doses are at a high risk of becoming addicted. The withdrawal symptoms are very irritating at times. See your clinician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
