What Causes Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty While Eating?

Sometimes, when I start to eat I will feel lightheaded and almost unable to breathe. It seems that a burp is there but will not immediately come up. Recently, when it finally comes up it is with thick gooey clear liquid. After that, I feel just fine and can resume eating my meal. I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia about 30 years ago.

Visit an endoscopic surgeon and do an endoscopy. The history you gave me suggests that the hiatus hernia has come back. kindly follow up after the endoscopic report '. Also, did you get any surgery done for the diagnosis 30 years back?
