What Causes Dizziness And Chills After An Ear Infection?

My young adult daughter called me with symptoms of a 94 degree temp, chills, dizziness. My first reaction was to encourage her to get another thermometer right away. She has been on Amoxicillin for a severe ear infraction for about a week. I don't know if this is related in any way. If the second read, from the new thermometer, is the same as the first, should I advise her to go to the ER pronto ?
