What Causes Dizziness And Confusion?

My husband has had several episodes of dizziness and feeling like he s going to pass out, and has lost all track of time today. He thought everything on his calendar for today happened on Friday, and he kept asking me if this was Monday, the 3rd. What should we do?

Hello,

Dizziness and passing out feeling might be caused by many health problems related to the heart or brain. These are nonspecific symptoms and he needs to do a thorough examination for finding the cause.

I suggest him to go to the ER for:

- a physical examination of the heart and brain
- blood pressure measure
-complete blood count, blood sugar and fats analysis to search for any iron deficiency anaemia, blood or fats level changes.
