What Causes Dizziness And Disorientation?

wokeup this morning, as well as yesterday morning, dizzy, feeling off , I knew something wasn t right so I went outside for some air. still didn t feel right after about 30 minutes.. came inside, took my sugar(diabetes 2), was 227. I function better when it s high but this time it wasn t right. sat down in my recliner and slept about 2 hours. when I got up I was still slightly dizzy and disoriented but a little better. now, it s 3pm, I ate a little took my insulin(novolog) and my numbers are now 115.

Hi,

Dizziness is common and many times, not a serious issue. This may occur with anything even a bad meal. So if your BP is normal, you don't feel faint, and you have no problem with your breathing and no chest pain.

I would suggest you should take more fluids and wait. Hope it goes in some time. If it persists or you have any of the above-mentioned problems then you should see your doctor for proper assessment and management.

But most of the times the problem is not a serious one. Sugar of 115 is fine .270 is bit high. We want to keep it around 2 hundred.
