What Causes Dizziness And Ears Ringing On Falling From A Chair?
Hi, I fell off of my chair and fell onto the tile floor in a seated position and hit my tailbone, I sat down for a bit and then got up, it didn't hurt to stand or walk, but I started feeling very dizzy, sick and my ears were ringing, that went away after about 2 minutes. Now I'm sitting down again applying an ice pack to my tailbone.
As per your query you have dizziness and ears ringing on falling from a chair . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like injury to brain , injury to spine , whiplash injury to neck , ear infection , stress and anxiety . Condition like diabetes can also cause such symptoms . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are either due to spine injury or injury to head or neck . I would suggest you to consult spine specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , sedative , anti inflammatory and may refer you to neurologist . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy of back and light stretching exercises .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
