What Causes Dizziness And Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

Hello, I am a 58 year old female and normally have low to normal blood pressure. In the past I have suffered both Labyrinthitis and Vertigo but not for many years. For the past 7 days I have felt dizzy upon waking but today my blood pressure is 219/83?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The dizziness is due to elevated blood pressure with secondary effects involving the neuron circuits.
* The cause of high BP seems secondary to labyrinthitis, but still any other systemic cause should be evaluated prior to starting the therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
