I ve been experiencing episodes of lightheadedness while walking and exercising or if I turn too quickly for the last 2 weeks - I do take thyroid medication but haven t had it checked in 2 years. Could it be that? I went to my doctor a few years ago with symptoms of lightheadedness and he said it was most likely vertigo- my dad had it too. But these last two weeks it has happened almost on a daily basis and if I sit down it passes for awhile but reoccurs. I am a 52 year old female and try to exercise 2-3 times a week. I watch what I eat, my weight is 144 and I m 5 7. I do have elevated cholesterol and take medicine for it but again I haven t had it checked in awhile. I will call my doctor on Monday to make an appointment but was just wondering your thoughts on it. My blood pressure is typically 120/80 but I took it with our home machine after one episode last week and it was 100/70. Is that too low?
