What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue After A Head Injury?

Hi. I jumped into bed and hit my below my eyebrow bone to the side of my head on the corner of my laptop. It hurt a lot immediately, and a lump soon arose. I m feeling very anxious and feeling slightly dizzy. I can see but my eye feels like it has a lot of pressure, and sore to touch. I am also feeling tired, but unsure if this is because it is nighttime. Should I be concerned?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is important to know whether after the head injury you had vomiting or loss of consciousness. It does not seem in your case that there is any internal injury. The pain and swelling will subside in a day or two.

Meanwhile, you should ice the area and take an over the counter painkiller like Tylenol. If by tomorrow you still feel dizzy then you should get yourself checked by a physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.Amman
