What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue While On Lisinopril And Zoloft?

Hi, my husband is 37 yrs old. On b/p med Lisinopril and Zoloft 100 mg. Latley, he has been c/o dizziness, ha, trouble focusing at tasks, very fatigued and aches (as if he has a fever which he does not), sore, night sweats. He was at doctor-No fever, glands are not swollen, CBC is normal., urine is normal, Thyroid labs normal. EKG normal. Lungs clear, no signs of sinus infection, spleen not enlarged, orthostatic b/p fluctuates slightly when sitting to standing increases about 10-15points, blood glucose fasting is pending, as well as Hba1c, and CMP. He does have family Hx of diabetes. Thoughts?

hi mam,you have given a detailed description of his illness.thanks a lot as every doctor expects that.the symptoms can be attributed to zoloft which is an antidepressant(SSRI).actually only lisinopril is a bp medication.zoloft is indicated in depressive disorders,obsessive compulsive disorder,panic attack,social anxiety,post traumatic stress disorder.its good that you have undergone all the required tests.orthostatic bp fluctuation is common in hypertensives.the symptoms he is experiencing are mostly due to zoloft.just report them to the physician who had prescribed it such that the dose can be adjusted.slow acceleration or increment in dose will reduce the side effects.please upload the reports of blood glucose and hba1c after you get them.hope my answer clears your doubts and reduces your apprehension.any other health issues,kindly let me know.i'l promptly attend your queries.thank you.take care of yourself and your family.bye.
