What Causes Dizziness And Headache After Taking Glycomet To Control Blood Sugar Level?
4 months ago I had my hysterectomy done. My sugar levels started after that. I am taking glycomet 500 mg twice a day after breakfast & dinner, since the past one month. Once I got a dizzy spell but I am getting constant headaches. Levels are mostly fasting 111, & after lunch & dinner varies from 126 to 170. Should I still take glycomet, considering the side effects or try to keep it in check with my diet, which consists of bitter gourd juice, bitter gourd vegetables with ragi rotis. PLEASE HELP!

HI
Thanks for posting your query.
Your sugar levels are ok but not very fine , hence you need to continue taking Glycomet. Keep doing the same diet but start doing some aerobic exercise like Brisk walking , jogging , cycling for at least 15 - 20 minutes per day.
If your blood sugars start coming down then we can think of reducing the dosage of Glycomet.
As of your dizziness is concerned I advise you to get Serum Vitamin B12, TSH and also get your Blood pressure tested .
Hope this information was useful to you . Any clarifications feel free to ask .
