Hello Thank you for trusting HCM Dear there are many causes for sudden hearing loss which include infectious, circulatory, inner ear problems like meniere’s disease, neoplastic, traumatic, metabolic, neurologic, immunologic, toxic, cochlear, idiopathic (unknown cause) and other causes. Unfortunately, even after a thorough search for a possible pathology, the cause of sudden hearing loss remains unknown in most patients. treatment may depends on the cause. but the history not sufficient to say what is the cause. possibilities like meniers disease,co angle tumors, perilymph fistula etc..there are reversible and irreversible causes for hearing loss.please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly. take care
