What Causes Dizziness And Heart Palpitations After Increasing Ramipril Dosage?

Hi I am a female 54 years of age with hypertension and I am on blood pressure meds as well as synthroid and sulpasalazine for connective tissue disorder, my Rampiril was increased from 5 mg to 10 mg 3 weeks back but I have started experiencing giddiness and heart racing off and on. This comes on and off so cannot understand what is happening. My ecg was done on Nov 30 as I had this experience but it was ok, xray of heart was done it was ok and so was the blood work all on that day. Did stress test on Dec 5 and was ok but pressure wwas reading at 145/85 My pressure reads from 130-150.85-98 when I feel like this

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints.As per your history, Please find my advice below-:
1)Correct anemia if low by iron injection
2)Correct B-12 by giving injection 4 times weekly upto one month then once a month
3)As you have already done ECG so it ruled out many cardiac disorders.
4)Take medications as usual it will take 15 days to adjust your pressure.
