What Causes Dizziness And High Blood Pressure Levels?

my husband became dizzy suddenly and needed to lye down ,his PB was 170/101 he was scared, he layed down his PB was 154/87 then 138/82 , he got up in 1 hour he isnt as dizzy PB 156/104, he was put on meds and then they took him off, i also have been having some dizzness in the last few days
