What Causes Dizziness And Loss Of Balance After Exercising?

Hi, I have been suffering from dizziness, headaches and out of balance since Sept. 2. This started the day I finished my exercises - secondary exercises/physio for pain management - car accident head on collision July 2014. Had finished 6 weeks and was to do 10 weeks program. Was doing a lot of head movement, up and down movement on bed, in the 3 days a week/3 hours a day program - lots of different exercises. I am 65 years old woman. I did not notice the out of balance(really out of balance) until I started the exercises as I could not walk the straight line.......? is this all from the accident? It was not my fault, the lady came directly in from of me in my lane and we collided...???? Inner ear infection? have been on vertigo meds and have done vertigo exercises for a while but I am getting worse........ANY SUGGESTIONS, GOING TO GET REFERRED TO EAR SPECIALIST.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear friend,

There are several causes of your dizziness after exercise. You maybe dehydrated, have low blood sugar, or vertigo due to an ear infection.

I recommend drink pretty of fluid, eat a light snack, and exercise lightly. You can slowly progress to more intense exercise depending on how you feel.
