What Causes Dizziness And Low Blood Pressure Levels?

I had a stemi heart attack with a coronary blockage off of my LAD. This is my 2nd MI since March 2016. I am 59 and I am being treated for HTN. I am on many meds beta blocker ace inhibitor Lasix aspirin and a blood thinner. I am often dizzy and tire very easy. My blood pressure readings average 96/55. With the lowest being 70/45. Should my blood pressure be higher than this? It was never this low before the 2nd heart attack.

Hi There

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that your Blood pressure is on lower side for which you need to withdraw your anti-hypertensive drugs . Sometimes after a heart attack BP stays on lower side because of pump failure.

It's advisable for you to personally consult with your cardiologist and discuss these issue with him so that he can evaluate you properly and can adjust the medicine dose .

Hope this has answered your query.
Kind Regards
Dr Navneet Mahajan
