What Causes Dizziness And Nausea After Applying Tineacide?

Hi, I applied Tineacide to my wifes toe nails and eventually rubbed it into the surrounding skin. A few minutes later, I was headed to the ER after getting light headed, nauseous, and convulsing. This came and went in a 2 hour window, then all of a sudden it subsided. Since Tineacide is absorbed through the skin, could I have been affected by it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There are no large scale data basis indicating systemic absorption of Tineacide cream, though any individual can manifest even unreported side effect of the drug. I do not think, you may be affected with the same by applying to your wife.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
