What Causes Dizziness And Nausea Along With Constipation?

Hello- my 25 year old daughter has experienced digestive issues including overflow constipation ever since I can remember. Even as a baby she was extremely colicky. Within the last year she has started developing a rash on her face and experiencing dizziness that causes nausea. She has had a history of low sodium and B12. I m not sure if any of these symptoms are related but they do interfere with her daily functioning. I look forward to any insight you might have. Thank you!

Hello,

She may have irritable bowel syndrome or malabsorption syndromes. It may lead to decreased absorption of nutrients from the bowel.

If b12 deficiency you may get it done schilling test, serum b12 level, folic acid levels and stool examination etc.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use Vitamin b12 capsules for the deficiency. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
