What Causes Dizziness And Nausea Along With Headaches?

I have had unprotected sex on the 22 last month, the lady told me today that she s been feeling dizzy and nauseous and long headache. What surprised me was that she says she was on her periods on the 7th April, two weeks after intercourse. Is it possible to have menstruations during pregnancy?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If she has true menses (the one which she usually has) after two weeks of the intercourse there is no possibility of pregnancy from that intercourse. So it was very unlikely that she has got pregnant. There are a hundred reasons for nausea, dizziness so if she is really sure of the story you said, it's least likely to be pregnancy symptoms and these symptoms of pregnancy even dint come this earlier.

Still, if she has any confusion, can check her urine for pregnancy but should focus on other causes of these symptoms like some bad diet bad sleep extra work or flue or dehydration. The list is nonexhausting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
