What Causes Dizziness And Nausea Along With Severe Stomach Cramps?

Hi, over the weekend I got extremely light-headed, dizzy and nauseous. I also had severe stomach cramps where I was basically doubled-over in pain. Not enough to go to the ER, but enough that I was basically immobile over the 3-day holiday. I happened to take yesterday off as an extended vacation and felt much better, however, I m back at work today and around 11:00 the symptoms started up again. Should I call my doctor? Should I be worried?

Hello,

The details of narrated symptoms point towards underlying intestine infection with some sort of bacterial or virus infection.

The prescribed medications take a time period of 2-3 days for covering of underlying issue and it will be resolved in short time span.

Additional precautions to maintain hydration and dietary care to avoid spices and non veg stuffs help a great in this direction.

However, if you feel that the symptoms are not totally under control even after consuming medications, can call up 911 for further help, otherwise can wait for couple of days ahead.
