What Causes Dizziness And Nausea In The Morning?

This morning my husband was very dizzy when he got up and a bit nauseous. He felt disconnected as if his body were in one place and he was in another. He had a stroke 2 years ago. He sat down and the dizziness left in about 30 min. No pain, bleary vision, loss of balance. What do you think? Thank you
