What Causes Dizziness And Nausea When Getting Treated For Water In Ear?

I have been getting dizzy and nauseated when I sit to stand, roll in bed, etc. It also feels like my eyes are straining which further makes me dizzy and nauseous. I was told I had a little water in my ear and given steroids but they aren t working. The symptoms have been going on for several years off and on, and have increased recently but have gotten worse over the past 3 weeks.
