I was recently put on 500 mg of Valacyclovir due to an eye condition in which my eye was dry and had cracked. I didn t ask about side effects and none were given. I was told to finished the entire thing and 3 refills were added. Shortly, I was dizzy, actually fainted once, weak, nauseated, no energy, little kidney activity, and I felt I was in trouble. I take Warfarin and the INR went from 1.9 to over 3.0 in a week. I stopped taking it and plan to tell my doctor that fact. As yet, since I just found these side effects, (I did not read a thing about them since I was in so much pain and the drops in my eyes kept me from being able to read it before I began taking the meds.)
