Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up a few days ago really dizzy and nauseous. Never threw up but the dizziness lasted 2 days. So bad I had to lean against a wall when standing up. I started taking allergy medicine and the symptoms stopped. The symptoms returned today. I am not congested. I am also really tired. More so than usual.
Nausea is commonly associated with dizziness. The most common reasons for dizziness are conditions related to the inner ear though there are other causes as well. The most common inner ear causes are : (1) vestibular neuronitis (2)benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (3)meniere's disease
Allergy medication usually contains an antihistamine and these are known to be helpful with dizziness, many of them are used temporarily to help relieve symptoms.
I hope this helps
