Hi, thanks for using Healthcare Magic.
I understand your concern.
Complications of
hysterectomy include:
1. Difficulty urinating.
2. Weakness of the pelvic muscles and ligaments that support the vagina, bladder, and
rectum.
3. Continued heavy bleeding.
4. Some women may experience early
menopause.
5. The formation of scar tissue (adhesions) in the pelvic area.
If the pain is mild, you can wait until tomorrow and you can take
acetaminophen 500 mg to relieve the pain.
Call your doctor immediately if:
1. You have bright red vaginal bleeding that soaks one or more pads in an hour.
2. You are sick to your stomach or cannot keep fluids down.
3. You have signs of infection, such as: Increased pain, swelling, warmth, or
redness.
4. You have foul-smelling discharge from your vagina.
5. Red streaks leading from the incision and pus draining from the incision.
6. A fever.
7. You have pain that does not get better after you take pain medicine.
Hope this helps
Take care.
