What Causes Dizziness And Numbness In The Right Arm?

My male room male age 23 @ 190 lbs and 6 1 and smokes; had a unusual health episode yesterday and hasn t been to a doctor. Had a numb feeling in right arm, dizziness when standing and stabbing headache in left side of head. He doesn t have insurance and is feeling fine today. He immediately has stopped smoking. Is this a symptom of a TIA mini-stroke ? Seems odd since he is active and works in the automotive and diesel truck industry.

Considering the symptoms it might have been a TIA episode, although these episodes are not typical at this age.
If this episode is repeated he must consult a neurologist for physical examination, to perform a CT head scan.
