What Causes Dizziness And Pain In Neck And Throat After Smoke Inhalation?

Hello , yesturday a small fire happened in my apartment. The fire was with oil and the whole apartment was in smoke I could not breathe in the house but had to go back into the house to get my cats who were coughing alot. Today I feel very fatigued and my neck and throat hurt alot.
I also feel very dizzy at times and I am very physically tired I feel like I have a flu bug but I believe it is related to the smoke inhalatioin.
To be clear, the whole apartment was full of smoke and it took a good 5 hours for it to completley clear.

Can you help to identify what I am feeling?

Thanks,

Jacqueline

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello
it is likely that your symptoms are due to the smoke inhalation and should clear up in 1-2 days, if the symptoms worsen or do not improve, please meet your ent doctor for examination and advice. meanwhile you can start gargling with warm salt water. thanks
