Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I am Dr Mittal. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Ideally I need more information about how all the symptoms developed. There is not much of a description in the message given. So I will just discuss the possibilities from the given information.
I think I can tell you that this sounds like an orthostatic hypotension.
Especially if the dizziness came around the time you stood up, maybe after waking up.
It could also be a micturition related dizziness if that was the time you developed dizziness.
It could be a TIA like episode if the symptoms were really sudden and there was no posture change involved.
I would recommend meeting a neurologist for a complete diagnosis and further investigation plan and treatment schedule. Alternatively you can let us know the complete details.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
