What Causes Dizziness And Redness On The Neck And Face While On Vyvanse?

Hello I have been on vyvanse for a month and had been doing well except for dehydration. Today I went pale the dizzy then my neck and face went bright red. I also have had the gastric bypass and have reactive hypoglycemia. My urine is normal color and I ve been drinking a lot of water. Glucose was fine- could this be from the vyvanse?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an allergic eruption.

As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like cetirizine or pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
