What Causes Dizziness And Ringing In The Ear?

Was in shower, went to close eyes and hold breath and wash face under water when I put my face under the water I got really dizzy and there was a ringing in my ear, I opened my eyes and only saw black, then after about two seconds my vision came back and dizziness stopped. Fine now but a bit light headed

hello, thanks for your query,dizziness could be due to eye( errors of refraction) cervical spine( spondylitis) ear( bppv, meniers disease, vestibular neuronitis). any fluctuations in Bp, any fluctuation in blood sugar or electrolyte disturbances.kindly evaluate with blood tests, ent examination to rule out d cause, hope I have answered your query, all d best, take care.
