What Causes Dizziness And Severe Fatigue After Exercising?

I am a 26 year old male in good health, I take no medications. When I exercise, after about 20 minutes I get lightheaded, extremely fatigued and I have a clenched jaw feeling then a horrible headache. I also yawn excessively. I am not sure whats going on. I am currently in my 3rd semester of nursing school, so I do have a lot of stress. I also have no energy after I exercise, when I used to have a lot. This has been going on for the last year but has gotten progressively worse.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

All the problems you have mentioned here are due to decreased oxygen supply to the brain. It may be due to heavy continuous exercise or hypoglycemia. Just to rule out any heart disease do an ECG and a clinical examination by visiting a physician. Take an intermittent rest during exercise to avoid your problems.
Hope this will help you.

Thank you
