What Causes Dizziness And Stomach Discomfort After Plasma Donation?

I ve just recently donated plasma yesterday and while donating I became very hungry and my stomach felt hot and after finishing I became very light headed and dizzy but after cooling down and drinking water I felt fine and returned to normal after eating... However yesterday night a couple hours after donating my stomach started feeling weird and even while I was hungry and my stomach was growling my stomach was distended and and after eating a small meal even a sandwich I felt as if I had eaten to much at a buffet....could I have a serious problem or does my body just need time to return to normal?

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the plasma donation is usually a smooth painless procedure.

* Certain individuals do pause effects relating to plasma volume reduction as

- hypotension
- tachycardia
- abdomen cramps
- dizziness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
