What Causes Dizziness And Sweating After Having Heavy Food?

When I go out to eat I usually eat much more than I do when I stay home, I am 72 yrs. After eating out, usually too much, within 15 mins. I get very dizzy and break out in a sweat. It lasts about half an hour and if I walk outside where it s cool it lessens.

It is simply due to overeating than your capacity. As your stomach has to expand more than the usual to accommodate food you have taken, it causes physical stress in body. More digestive enzymes needed to digest more food , so your blood flow directed more towards Gastro Intestianl tract and relatively less blood supply to other body systems. It leads to lowering of blood pressure , which causes dizziness and sweating. As your food go down to intestine after some digestion , physical stress GI tract release and you feel better. So do eat multiple times rather than large at once to prevent such circumstances.
